Nathalia was recently appointed as Director, Development for IHG in South East Asia and Korea, based in Singapore. IHG is one of the world’s largest international hotel groups.
Nathalia was born in Indonesia and educated in Australia with 20 years extensive experience in Asia Pacific. Her strong network, hotel investment and asset management experience make her a fantastic addition to the IHG team. Nathalia focuses on further expanding IHG’s presence in the region to achieve its growth ambitions.
Prior to joining IHG, Nathalia was at Savills where she established and led the Asia Pacific Hotel Advisory Business. Over six years, she played a pivotal role in growing the team based in Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, Japan and China. At Savills, she further honed her skills in asset management, hotel investment, due diligence, hotel advisory, feasibility studies and strategic planning.
Nathalia also worked at Hyatt Hotels Corporation in their regional offices in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Dubai; and Goldman Sachs Realty Japan in their Tokyo headquarters. She is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and conversational Japanese.
IHG operates more than 99 hotels across 9 countries in South East Asia and Korea, with more than 82 hotels in the pipeline.

Fausto Liriano’s career in real estate spans a period exceeding 20 years, starting in the development and construction arena. A Civil Engineer by profession, among his notable projects were the Thunderbird Resorts in Peru and the Philippines where he was Head of Construction and subsequently Operations Director for Design and Construction. He has since honed his experience and exposure in the fields of engineering and project management for infrastructure, residential, commercial, gaming and hospitality projects.
In 2012, Mr. Liriano co-founded RCL Realty and Consulting Services, Inc. based in the province of La Union, the surfing capital of Northern Philippines, pursuing the development of high-end leisure and residential projects, among which are Waves Beach Club and Residences (to be operated by Dusit International), and Tuscany Estates.
In 2018, Mr. Liriano spearheaded the expansion of RCL Realty into the brokerage side of real estate business, adding to its scope of services corporate real estate solutions, capital market and investment sales. In 2019, RCL Realty became the partner affiliate of NAI Global in the Philippines and rebranded as NAI RCL Philippines, literally taking the then boutique local brokerage firm to the global stage.

Mr. Cyrill Czerwonka joined BWH Hotel Group / Best Western Hotels & Resorts as Regional Director of Development - Asia in May 2018. BWH Hotel Group is one of the world’s largest hotel chains with over 4,500 hotels in more than 100 countries. The group has the ambition to double its portfolio within the region, by further expanding its 16 brands from economy to luxury, on the basis of management contract and franchise.
Cyrill has enjoyed an impressive career in the hotel investment and development sector with both operators and owners. This has included identifying and leading new hotel opportunities, negotiating deals and conducting financial studies for a number of international hospitality companies.
Having obtained his Master’s Degree in Business & Finance from a Graduate Business School of Management in France, Cyrill entered the hospitality industry with AccorHotels. Based in Bangkok, this role also re-introduced Cyrill to the Asia Pacific region as he focused on Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, and conducted a three-month mission to India.
Following this, Cyrill spent almost five years with Singapore-based serviced apartment specialist, The Ascott Limited, as Business Development Manager for Europe. Then in 2013, he joined Dusit International as Assistant Director of Development for EMEA, based in the United Arab Emirates.

strategic/corporate/financial planning, financial and property valuation as well as in-depth industry specific research and analysis, general business management and development work.

Prior to re-joining JLL, Janlo served as the Head of Research and
Consulting for another global real estate services firm where he
developed the Philippine business and worked with various local and

Benjamin Candari, AIA, MArch, is one of the founders of FSC ARCHITECTS, an international hospitality design firm offering master planning and architecture services from its headquarters in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The company’s Living Places approach is grounded in designing meaningful experiences that enrich life through Contemporary Regionalism - design that imbues forward thinking convivial place-making skills with local culture, history and the natural environment.
For about 20 years, Benjamin has designed award winning international hotels and resorts. Some of FSC ARCHITECTS notable projects built or under construction include the Hilton Linzhi Resort in Tibet, CURIO Yazhou Bay in Sanya Hainan Island, HuaLuxe Hotel by IHG in Kunming, and Marriott &Renaissance in Xiamen, PRC.
With a strong background in fine art and a natural inclination toward practical design, Benjamin strives to find balance in every project that he undertakes. Through his extensive international experience, he has learned to take inspiration from both the local culture and the natural environment, and believes that a well-designed structure should function as an asset to its surroundings, as opposed to simply an addition.
Benjamin sees this idea of balance in design as an essential tenet in creating not only a unique space,but also an extraordinary experience.
SVP Acquisitions, Procurement, Property Development & Technical Services Wyndham Destinations
David Wray is the driving force behind property acquisitions for both WorldMark South Pacific Club and CLUB WYNDHAM ASIA, David started his career with Wyndham as Senior Director of Acquisitions for Wyndham in the South Pacific, and progressed quickly to Vice President of Acquisitions and Business Development before assuming his current role in July 2018.
Prior to joining Wyndham, David held the position of State Manager for Choice Hotels and was responsible for the growth of their property portfolio, sales and marketing and property relationships. David was heavily involved with the branding transition from Flag Hotels to Choice Hotels.
David has close to 20 years in the hospitality industry and during this time, he has developed a solid network of industry colleagues and gained extensive insight and experience to identify new opportunities and locations for properties, analysing and advising on best market fit for Wyndham.
David has also recently been instrumental in the significant growth of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, having secured in excess of 100 properties in two years.

Shi’ai Liang is the Director – Hotel Development Asia-Pacific for Marriott International. Prior to joining Marriott International in 2017, she held development roles with Rosewood Hotel Group, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Pan Pacific Hotel Group. A native of Singapore, Shi’ai graduated from the National University of Singapore with a B.A. (Architecture) degree. She also holds a Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) degree from Cornell University, with a concentration in real estate finance. She was a Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Scholar.
Area General Manager - Philippines
Mr. Garry Garcia is a figure to be reckoned with as he has over 40 years of practical business experience and education, which led to where he is now.
His growing years were not your run of the mill childhood but rather spent taking an active part in the family business. As years passed, he had the opportunity to study overseas to broaden his foundation in the industry. He attended the following institutions such as Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Motel Association, Nanyang Technological University, University of Toronto, and Cornell University where he was part of the editorial team of Cornell Hospitality Quarterly as a peer reviewer. As a working student in Canada, he moved up the business ladder from a hotel page boy to multi-properties management. His expertise ranges from traditional hotel operations to the various aspects of the tourism industry.
Mr. Garcia has a robust background in project management, construction, and refurbishments of hotels, resorts, and restaurants in the Asia-Pacific region. He has also served in various positions in organizations that aim to develop tourism. These include roles as Executive Vice President of the Philippine Tourism Congress, Tourism Commissioner of the City of Lapu-Lapu.
Besides, he has been affiliated with different tourism bodies such as the Department of Tourism(Philippines), Marianas Visitors Authority, Danang Department of Tourism Danang People & Committee, SKAL and MICECON. Driven by the conscious need and challenge to keep up with new information and changing times, he is currently completing courses in Data Analytics with the National University of Singapore and Construction Management with Columbia University.
Mr. Garcia is not your typical executive with a pre-set manual or fixed mindset. He innovates,re-invents, and thinks out of the box. He believes that a successful hotel or resort operation comes from being an active stakeholder in the tourism community where they are located.

Gianpietro Iseppi has served as Vice President of Hotel Operations at the Luxury Solaire Resort and Casino, overseeing the day to day operations of this luxury 800 room property since 2014.
Unlike many hoteliers, Gianpietro Iseppi started his career in the hospitality business with his foundations based within the integrated resorts business, with a specific focus on mega resorts, working for such various leading gaming resorts around the world including The Venetian Las Vegas, The Venetian Macau, The Palazzo Las Vegas, The Marina Bay Sands Singapore and most recently with the Solaire Resort and Casino.
Mr. Iseppi comes from a line of hoteliers born to a Swiss father and a Filipina mother, spending most of his early years in the Philippines and Singapore before his family settled in Las Vegas, and then completing his education in Switzerland.

Angel Sueiro is the Chief Operating Officer of the PH Resorts Group
Holdings Inc. At this time, the company is developing two Integrated
Resorts in the Philippines --- The Emerald Bay in Mactan, Cebu, and The
Base in Clark Pampanga. In addition, PH Resorts is also currently
operating and managing The Donatela, a high-end boutique resort in
Panglao, Bohol. Angel is responsible for the creation and execution of

Stephen Sieh is the Founder and Managing Partner of Primeiro Partners, a leading independent investment banking advisory firm in the Philippines. Primeiro specializes in providing investment banking, investment management and strategic partnership services to companies and investors in the Philippines and in the region.
Mr. Sieh recently advised Red Planet Hotels on a financing transaction involving a number of its hotels in the Philippines. He also advised Awesome OS, a US and Philippines - based BPO company serving leading and
fast-growing US e-commerce clients, on its sale to Transcom, a global customer experience specialist based out of Sweden. Mr. Sieh has lead several engagement involving leading local and regional companies and financial sponsors including Megawide Corporation, Century Properties, Alphaland Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, Manosa Properties, Xurpas Inc., Phoenix Property Investors, ARCH Capital, and Indies Pelago.
Prior to founding Primeiro Partners, Mr. Sieh was a New York based investment banker for over 15 years and served as Managing Director at the Debt Capital Market and Advisory Group at Evercore Partners and the M& A and Restructuring Group at Lazard Freres. Mr. Sieh led several global and emerging market assignments, and has closed over 50 deals with a total transaction value totaling over $150 billion. This includes: the sale of General Motors to the US Government, the sale of Parmalat’s business in the US, the acquisition of Chrysler by Cerberus, the sale of Bright Horizons
to Bain Capital, the restructuring of Daewoo in Korea, and advisory assignments with AES Corporation on several investments in Latin America.

Ms. Bi Yong Chungunco is the Chief Executive Officer of Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corporation. In addition to her current role, she is an Independent Non-executive Director of Alstom Group, a multinational company listed in the Paris Euronext, operating worldwide in the rail transport market.
Prior to this role, Ms. Chungunco was with Lafarge, now known as Lafarge Holcim Group for 15 years, the global leader in building materials and solutions, with around 75,000 employees in around 80 countries. She was the most senior woman leader from Asia in the Group, and one of the few who held positions at the country, regional and group level, crisscrossing between functional and operational role.
She started as the Country General Counsel in the Philippines, went to Paris to be the Regional Counsel in charge of Latin America and parts of Asia, became the Deputy General Counsel, overseeing the mergers and acquisitions of the group and coordinating the global network of lawyers. She was then appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lafarge Malaysia, one of the largest industrial companies listed with the KL Stock Exchange, covering Malaysia and Singapore operations.
After 4 years, she moved back to Paris to be the Group General Counsel of Lafarge. After the merger of Lafarge and Holcim, she went back to operations in charge of Southeast Asia - West region, based in Singapore, supervising 5 countries, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
Her last assignment with the Group was Head Of Divestments, focusing on Asia Pacific Region and concurrently, head of the Lafarge operations in China.
A lawyer by training, she worked in various law firms prior to becoming the general counsel of Jardine Davies, thereafter, joining LafargeHolcim Group as mentioned above. She was also the Past President of Tax Management Association of the Philippines, a national organisation of tax practitioners in the Philippines.

responsible for the operation of the Firm’s valuation, consulting and

With 14 years of consulting and valuation experience, Daniel Voellm has
provided advice in 24 territories across Asia Pacific. Prior to assuming his
regional role, Daniel Voellm headed the Hong Kong office after his time as Vice President at HVS’ global headquarters in New York (2005-2008) conducting a wide range of appraisals, market studies and underwriting due diligence services in 22 states as well as Canada.
Daniel Voellm brings a strong understanding of the hospitality industry to HVS. His experience in hotel and food and beverage operations in Germany,
Switzerland, England and the United States is complemented by an Honours
Bachelor of Science Degree from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
Daniel works closely with key institutional and private owners of hotel
properties, financiers, developers and investors, and has gained a strong
understanding of their investment requirement and approaches to assessing
market values of investment properties. Daniel further advises on property
and concept development and strategy.
After heading the Hong Kong office in 2008, Daniel opened a new HVS offices in Bangkok and Shenzhen in 2013 and was promoted to Managing Partner Asia Pacific in 2014, responsible for 5 of the firm’s offices, including Beijing and Shanghai. Daniel became a professional member of the Royal institute of Chartered Surveyors in October 2016.

Cathy Saldaña is currently one of the prominent female Architects in the country. She is known for Hospitality Design, Retail Mixed Use, Residential High Rises, Logistics and is one of the pioneers in international architectural outsourcing. She has been doing challenging and technical work out there in the Philippine islands, along coastlines, in major cities and provinces, helping contribute in creating good planning, Architecture and Interiors. She did 2 airports for Ayala Land, alongside several Ayala Land hotels such as Seda Lio in El Nido, Palawan. Shangri-La Resorts, Filinvest, SM, Discovery, Marriott Hotels, Megawide, Mt. Grace Health Group and San Miguel are among her clients. There are advocacies close to her heart: inclusive architecture thoughtfully designed for people and the preservation of natural environments amidst new building technologies. She is part of several women’s leadership groups and is a former design writer for BluPrint, Mega magazine and the Philippine Daily Inquirer. She is sought after for island developments as she leads both engineering and sustainable design strategies. Hers is a familiar and strong voice in conventions and conferences both locally and internationally, as she has been and continues to speak at the Hospitality Investment Conferences, Architecture Anthology, Urban Land Institute, Asia CEO Forum, United Architects of the Philippines, Worldbex, EAROPH or East Asian Regional Organization for Planning and Human Settlements, and many others. She has recently delivered lectures and research papers both in Florence, Italy in 2015 and Palermo, Italy in 2018 and Newcastle, Australia also in 2018. A topic close to her heart is Coastal Design: Architecture and Construction by the Water, where she has probed in-depth into projects and communities beside the seas.
Her firm is a volunteer Architect for Bantay Kalikasan and the Foundation of Ms. Gina Lopez working on projects in remote locations where her aim is about giving back to the country.
She is the Managing Director and President of her own firm PDP Architects, and CEO of the design outsource company called Collaboration Authority.
She is an International Associate and is a member of the new Board for the International Region Asia Pacific Chapter of the American Institute of Architects; was formerly President of the UP College of Architecture Alumni Foundation and very recently was elevated as Fellow at the United Architects of the Philippines.

Stefanie Irma is the Country Head for RedDoorz Philippines – Southeast Asia’s fastest growing hotel management and booking platform with over 1,400+ properties in 100+ cities. RedDoorz was founded in 2015 by a team of senior executives with deep experience in the online travel and hospitality industry, and has grown into a regional powerhouse in Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The firm has been growing five times year-on-year.
Irma graduated from a PR educational background in London School of Public Relations in Jakarta which dragged her into a various experience on the ground. Her first career turning point as an Account Executive in one of the reputable advertising agencies in Jakarta also paved way to her entry with RedDoorz in Indonesia.
She started as RedDoorz’s Regional key Account Manager, and surprisingly, within just 1 year of experience brought her to be the Head of Account Management. She had a deep grasp of the business very well that her skills and knowledge escalated as she understands its business numbers, strategies, and methods - ideally grew further than expected. Irma was appointed to open and lead RedDoorz in the Philippine market just after 10 months.
